How do you copy file names in Windows Explorer?

when you select a file or folder you can give one single clic with the mouse left button or also press F2 in the keyboard and the name of the file/folder will be available for copy. Then with the mouse right button you clic on it and chose "Copy" or press Ctrl+C to get the name on the clipboard.

Best way to copy file name in Windows Explorer is: left mouse click on the file and select it press F2 key on the keybord ctrl + C shortcut to copy the file name ctrl + V shortcut to paste the file name

Select a file, right click on it and select to change the name. Now left click on the file name and select copy. Choose wherever you want to paste it.

It is not possible to copy file names in windows explorer. You can only copy a file name, by pressing F2 or slowly pressing twice on file name. File name will be marked, than you can use ctl+c and ctrl+v, to copy and paste file name.
