Question by  ChrstopherJ (25)

How do you conceive a boy?

My husband and I really really want a boy.

Answer by  Mary (2095)

Most options only increase the chance by about 1-2%, but recent weight gain, lack of intercourse before ovulation for both parties, and female orgasm do increase chances.

There is really no sure fire way to conceive a boy when trying to get pregnant. Science is working on a way but they are still a long way from actually achieving this goal. So for now you are just going to have to take what you get when you do conceive.

There are fertility treatments that will allow you to choose the sex of your child, but they are incredibly expensive and not generally affordable.

Answer by  Cecilia (2828)

There is no sure-fire way to conceive one sex or another. If you absolutely must raise a boy you can always adopt. The sex of the baby is not nearly as important as a healthy thriving baby. You'll be able to love whichever sort you get.

It's impossible. Stories about what position to use are old wives tales. A baby's sex is determined by the father's sperm, and you can't control which will fertilize your egg.
