Question by  Craig (23)

How do you combine an orange wall with other color walls?

If the orange is a nice deep pumpkin color, use some earthy toned beiges, light browns, moss greens or even a deep chocolate brown. If it's more of a bright cartoon type orange, tone it down with some soft yellows or even a bright white wall. A splash of lime would look great with bright orange too.

Combine shades and tones of all walls in your accessories. Since orange is such a "pop" color, use it sparingly.

Orange walls would look good with a nice brown wood trim. That color can be tricky if it is too bright. You could accent the area with some reds to give the room a nice flow as well.

A neutral cream color always works well with a bright accent wall. Another idea is to paint the rest of the room a lighter shade of the same color. Avoid contrasting colors.
