How do you clean silk curtains?

Put lukewarm water in bathtub, add mild soap, wash curtains gently, put more soap on stains, rinse. Put them in clean lukewarm water add 1 Tbl white vinegar, let curtains sit a minute and rinse. Roll curtains in towel to soak up water. Hang curtains outside in shade to dry.

Use a vinegar solution in the bathtub (make sure the bath is very clean first) of one cup per gallon of water, and soak them for half an hour. Then hang them to dry outside without crushing or wringing them.

Since they are silk I would take them to the dry cleaners, since they know what they are doing. They have the right tools and the know how to use them. If you take them to the cleaners they will still look the best when you get them back and they will more than likely last longer.

Try soaking them in the bathtub, if it is ok to wet them. Use mild detergent and throw them in the dryer on low with a lot of softener sheets.
