How do you claim lost money?

Mail the departmnent that handles claims the following: copies of DL, SS#, Proof of address, and Birth certificate. They may ask for additional stuff.

Well if you have lost the money, it is quite hard that you will find it back. Even if you do know who has it, you will need proof against that person. You will need to file a report against that person in the police and there might be a chance that you could recover it.

Call where you lost the money and tell them the exact amount that you lost and they should give it back to you.
