changing the car battery is pretty simple. first remove the negative wire "black" by loosening the bolt that is on the terminal or that goes through the terminal on certain makes and models. the terminal will pull off, then repeat forthe positive"red" and lift battery out, reverse steps to install

First loosen the negative terminal, then the positive terminal. Next remove the hold down device that keeps the battery in place. Carefully lift it out of its tray while keeping it away from you and your clothing. Rinse tray with water to remove corrosion then place new battery in car. Reverse steps to reinstall battery being careful with your wrenches.
