How do you calculate how much concrete you will need?

You will need to look at the package you bought and it will give you the amount of square feet it covers. Than measure the area you are working on. You will then divide the area by the amount of coverage one bag cover to determine how many bags you will need to mix.

When buying supplies you need to measure the area two or three times to be sure. For a rectangl you need to measure the perimeter using length times the width.

You will need to take measurements of the square footage of the driveway and divide that by the coverage of the bags you are buying. Most bags cover 4 or 5 square feet at 2 inches thick.
