How do you buy stuff without a credit card?

I want to eliminate using credit cards.

In order to stop using credit cards, you need to plan ahead for your expenses in order to have cash on hand for them as they occur.

You have three choices: debit card (using it either as credit or as debit, the money comes directly from your checking account), write checks, or cash. Either way, this money comes from your checking account.

Use the 30 days rule. If I want something bad today, wait 30 days and see if I still grave it. Usually no. If you do this you can save up to buy it, or by the end of the 30 days you can pay cash for something else.
