The best thing to do is to go and have them recolored. Most shops don't charge alot for this and some will even do it for free if it's theirs.

Frequent moisturizing can help keep tattoos looking fresh, but an older-looking tattoo could benefit from a touch-up by a tattoo artist. A good artist can freshen colors and define lines.

Make an appointment at the tattoo shop to have your tattoo enhanced. They can draw over some parts to make lines distinct again and brighten the color. Make sure you take care of the tattoo and use sunblock so it stays sharp.

You can get what is called a retouch. That is where they redo the tattoo, right over the old one. This makes it look fresh and new like you just got it, again. As far as I know there is not another way to make them look like new again.
