Simple. Go to start, get the Run command, and type Regedit. If you can't do so,use some exernal program like WinXP manager by Yamicsoft. It can either call the normal Regedit,or use some other version; It's user friendly and fast. Don't forget that modifing a registry is difficult, and dangerous if you don't know how to operate it!

Put in cmd in the search programs and files bar located in your startup, and it'll pull up the command prompt. Next type cls to clear screen, then type tree to pull up programs and go from there. If it doesn't work type help and go from there also

To edit the windows registry you need to run regedit.exe. To run it under Windows Xp or Vista, use StartProgram > Run then type regedit. Under Windows 7, just type regedit directly into the Start Program search area. You must have administrator privileges to be able to modify the registry.
