NO, tan through swim suits are not see through. They are made out of a material that allows the suns rays to penetrate and reach the skin so it tans.

No, they are not totally see through. Tan through suits work by allowing the sun and it's rays to penetrate through the material allowing your skin to get tanned. You skin is not protected from the rays which could cause skin cancer.
