you will probably just have to let it heal on its own like a cracked rib. Talk to your dr.

A person that has a sternum fracture would need to take the required care since the area affected could not be kept in a cast. The doctor might recommend rest for two weeks depending on your healing process.

You need to get plenty of rest. Do not have any vigorous activity so it will be able to heal and ask the doctor for some pain medication to help.

Most hairline fractures in this location don't need any special treatment but to heal on its own. Of course a doctor's opinion is needed.

Rest and lack of activity to stretch and stress that area of the body is about all you can do. There is really nothing else that doctors can do to help.

A hairline fracture of sternum with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs which reduces the pain due to chest movements while breathing. Total bed-rest and restriction of movement is necessary for a complete cure. It may take 6 to 12 weeks time to heal completely. Taking calcium supplements helps to make bones strong. An electrocardiogram is necessary to monitor heart function.

You go to the hospital you ridiculous person. Are you seriously trying to treat a life-threatening injury by asking people on the internet? A sternum fracture is likely to have also resulted in injury to the heart and/or major arteries or veins. It can also be associated with lung bruising. Just go to the hospital.
