How do I stop the computer from timing out?

Are you speaking about your internet? You can change this setting from within your connection properties. Also, you can set up a small program to ping ever few seconds.

At start up press the DEL key to invoke BIOS Screen. Using the arrow keys choose the Power Management option. Select the ACPI option and press enter. Use the arrow key to choose Disable and press enter. Press F10, press y to save changes and exit.

Applications should have a setting to determine how long to wait for a response before timing out, find it and adjust. Otherwise, optimize the code or get more network bandwidth.

1. Right click on your desktop, go to properties. 2. Go to screen saver. 3. Unclick "on resume, passworld protect. 4. Click apply after ok.
