Is your tank overstocked? You should have a maximum of 1 inch of fish per gallon of water for tropical fish. How do you clean the tank? A 10-20% water change each week? Don't empty the tank, rinse the gravel, or use soap when cleaning your tank.

Before you go out an purchase any more tropical fish, it is important that you actually do the research and look up what living condition you would have to create for your fish. It is okay to ask the people who work at the pet stores as well as they should give you the right advice and proper care tips.

Water quality is usually the problem if there are continual deaths of new fish, or if the old fish all die within a short time. There are test kits for water quality that you can buy, or you can mostly take a water sample to your local pet store and they will check it.

You might have something in your water that is making the fish sick. You should change your water in the tank, just to make sure. Cleaning it would be the best thing for them.
