How do I replace the front wheel hub on my Ford Windstar?

Jack your windstar up and remove the wheel. Then you must unbolt the caliper which should have at least 2 bolts. Once You are done with that take your Rotor off. Then unbolt the hub there should be 3 bolts. Then take a slide hammer and remove the old hub

It might sound easy that actually to replace the front wheel hub on my Ford Windstar. The bearings for the front wheel of the windstar, comes as a whole unit hub assembly. You will have to carefully, using specific tools to remove the caliper of brake, axel, rotor and the bolts holding the hub assembly on the spindle.

Remove the lug nuts and remove the wheel. Remove the caliper by unplugging the wiring harness. Remove the rotor by turning counter clockwise direction. Remove the four hub mount bolts behind the rotor,this assembly will slide off the axle. Replace caliper,wiring harness. Now replace the wheel and tighten the lug nuts.
