Most compression fittings must be replaced if a slight tightening wont fix the leak. Once a compression ring is tightened on the tube it cannot be removed. If tightening does not work, a section of the fuel line must be removed in order to piece in new fittings.

The only way to replace fuel compression fittings is by replacing the entire fuel line. Because the line is flared at the end of the fitting, there is no way to just just replace it.

You can just unscrew the old compression fitting and screw the new on onto the fuel line. You will need to use wrenches.

You are going to take the old compression fittings off and take the line that you have up to your local auto parts store and they will put new fittings on for you and then you just reinstall the line.
