commonly when the fins take a beating you get a coil brush and try straighten them out. If however the fins are beyond repair a new coil is needed.

Make sure to use gloves for this, the fins will slice your flesh! Once removed and the new once replaced, use a fin comb to straighten fins if needed.

The fins are pressed on when the coil is made. It is not possible to replace the fins on an existing coil. Buy new.
