You need simple tools: wrenches and a screwdriver. Remove the air cleaner, giving access to the attaching screws on the carb. Remove the screws and gasket. Replace gasket and carb.

You'll need a phillips head screwdriver, a pair of pliers and a ratchet set. Then you'll want to take the engine cover off. After that, clear the gas tank and clean the pipes out. Then take out the gas tank. The carburetor is attached to this. Also, look at the air filter.

You will need needle nose pliers, combination wrenches, a socket set and most likely a straight screwdriver. Be sure to cut of the gas or drain the gas tank.

You need a standard toolbox basically, with a few sockets or two adjustable wrenches, various screwdrivers and allen wrenches, and maybe a torque wrench or other device. Good luck with it!
