How do I replace a fuel tank air filter?

This is kind of like a carbon canister. Unhook the hose(s) going to it and unbolt it. Replace it with the new one-connect the hoses and bolt it on.

I hate to tell you this but there's no such thing as a fuel tank air filter. There is a vent valve in some models but those usually don't need to be replaced.

Well for one there is no fuel tank air filter that i know of there is the common air filter. This is easily replaced by lifting the hood.

I assume that you are talking about doing this in a Hyundai. They seem to be the only company that has these and not a lot of people really know where they are. Not knowing the year all I can say it try looking around the filler neck somewhere. Typically behind the fender or behind a panel in the trunk.

filter in my 1997 volkswagen passat TDL diesel or. at least trying to. It seems i got adefective fuel filter changing you air filter will improve fuel economy and save gas. A clean air filter allows moreto flow into the engine
