How do I repair a rear axle bearing for a Dodge truck?

Answer by  worker8388 (994)

Using screwdriver remove the wheel bearing cap. Then remove the wheel bearing using wrench. Clean all the old grease and check for scoring or edges. Use new bearing grease to fill the opening. Insert the bearing to the well packed rear axle. Bearings are tight fit and should install exactly. Do this for every 80,000 miles.
