How do I repair a MTD lawn tractor hydro tran?

I'm all for do it yourself handyman stuff but this one you do not want to tackle on your own unless you fix these for a living!

The hydro tran on the MTD model lawn tractor can be replaced easily. Simply lift the hood of the tractor and you will see the hydro tran to the left of the engine. It slides out of the tran compartment. Slide it out and replace it with a new one.
