There are three options: you can apply a chemical remover and then scrape off the gooey result; you can use a wire brush and elbow grease; or, you can use a power washer or sand blaster. Be careful with power since you can easily eat into the brick.

The most common methods are power washing, sand blasting, lye, solvents, stripper, and paint thinner. Usually it takes a combination of these. I would start by power washing the brick if is on the outside. A wire brush and solvent will take almost all the paint off, but is slow.

Have you tried a power washer? Gradually, turn up the pressure until you reach the desired results. If this doesn't work, hire a sand blaster.

If you can't get it off the elbow grease way, they you will need to rent a power washer and do it the easy way. With the correct pressure of the water you can remove anything from anything. They are not to expensive to buy and are good on the cement driveways.
