How do I remove my personal information from online websites that have decided to display it without my approval?

Some of these places allow you to "opt out" but I wonder if that's safe since it's shady to display my personal information without my consent.

In addition to opting out or unsubscribing, there are companies and tools that are designed exclusively to help you with this that can be found online.

In order to remove the information, you have to use the opt out they provide. They gathered it from various websites and social networks you use, making it public information.

surely there will be some functions like hide personal information. when you click or choose that option means your information should not show to any others.
