How do I remove a headrest on my Chevy Venture?

Pull the head rest up as high as it will go. Near the bottom there should be a metal or plastic collar that the headrest posts fir into. There might be a small tab to push in to release the headrest, or it may just need to be pulled sharply.

The Chevy Venture doesn't have a lock that keeps the headrest from being removed. It does however require some arm strength. Keeping the rest verticle try not to pull back or lan forward on it but lift it straight up toward the roof. This will remove the support rods.

Usually there is a button on the side that pushes down and the headrest will pull right up out fpr you.

You should be able to take it off by pulling it off. Most of them you are able to pull them off.

There is a tool namely Tool # J 42372 required by GM dealership to remove the headrest. Pull the seat towards steering. Insert the tool to the headrest to remove.
