If the judgement is not in error than the judgement will most likely remain. If there is a change in the status of the claim, say you paid it, then you can have the credit report companies change the listing to reflect this. Be sure to contact all 3 companies and change all 3 reports.

You cannot. Credit reporting agencies can't include the Judgment in any credit report about you after seven years (unless the state you live in has a longer statute of limitations).

If the civil claim was legitimate, it cannot be removed. It will fall off your credit in seven to ten years, but in the meantime it will show that it was resolved (if it was). Credit bureaus cull through court records and pull those items themselves, so there's not much you can do.

Pay off your judgment with cash. Ask creditor to give you receipt and letter showing paid. Send copies to all three bureaus asking each to update to paid/resolved. Otherwise, lawyer up.

In order to have anything removed from your credit report, you have to dispute it. That means that you have to prove that it should not be on your credit report, or that you don't owe any money to whichever company it is listed under. You have to call the credit companies and ask them if it can be disputed.
