Containers offer options a garden doesn't. You can move your planters wherever you desire including inside or outside. Most plants can live in containers with minimum care and regular waterings, but keep in mind container plants will dry out faster. Make sure you have holes in bottom of pot. Placing shells or broken pottery as bottom layer will provide drainage.
