King Tut Papyrus plants like vivid sunlight and do not like to get dehydrated. To keep yours alive through the winter it needs to be in the brightest spot with regards to direct sunlight in your home. You need to keep about 1 inch of water in the base of the pot, you must not let it dry out

Just keep the plant in a pot with soil in it, and place the pot in a dish with an inch or two of water to keep it moist.
