How do I locate a circuit operating relay in my 4Runner?

Check for your wiring diagram for your vehicle to see where it is located. The relay should be located near the fuse box.

first off verry good quad, go to and type the question in, find a website with the manual for your quad on it and they will be able to tell you right away were it is

I would check your owners manual and any booklets that came with the car, if that fails you can call a dealership, the service department should be able to help you out, if that fails take it to the dealer or an experienced auto mechanic in your area.

You will most likely need to locate an electrical wiring diagram for your vehicle. I have seen relays near the fuse panel and i have seen the stuffed up in the dash board. A diagram will point you in the right direction.

You should consider buying the schematics for your vehicle which shows the circuits and the location of all the relays in your vehicle.

It is not that much complex.. Just check out the areas near your engine you could find a yellow wire that is above the circuit breaker.. Here it comes
