How do I keep my kids from having either girlfriends or boyfriends to early?

You need to talk with them about relationships and the "birds and the bees". Explain to them why and try to maintain an open and honest relationship with them. Stay firm in your beliefs but listen to them. They are probably going to have their little relationship in school, just limit the outside freedom and supervise them.

If they are going to school, there is really no way you can prevent them from having a boyfriend or girlfriend inside school. However, you can set a rule in your household that you are not allowed to date till the appropriate age to start dating. Though, I would give them some sort of sex education as soon as possible.

It's important to communicate with our children while they are very young. Inculcating family standards and setting the example so they they can see we mean what we say. This will go a long way. To wait until they are teens to try and communicate is too late.

Set rules and guidelines for your children not allowing them to date or be involved in a romantic relationship. You do have control over this situation and need to be in control of it. Regardless of what others may say this is your decesion and you do have the abiltiy to affect this.
