Keep your clothes in a dry and clean area. The best way also is to put away clothes when your not using them during a particular season. Keep in mind the storage area when you do this though. It is best to keep clothes in tight containers and as a extra add moth balls to keep them way.

Moths love clothing with food or sweat stains. Have items thoroughly cleaned before storing them away. Store in an airtight container or garment bag with moth balls, cedar chips, or sachets of lavender oil. Replace moth repellents every few months to ensure they are working.

You can put moth element products that will protect your clothing. You can also use moth spray that will thwart moths from getting attached to your clothing.

Bay leaves and moth balls are the best way to protect your clothing from the scourge of moths. Also make sure that your kitchen is in great shape with all the food put away. I know a couple of roommates who had an infestation that started in their kitchen.

One method of going about this is moth balls. If smell concerns you, then you might want to try making lavender sachets, it will also keep fiber eaters away.

Keep a box of moth balls in your closet, and put your cashmere in a garment bag. For small items you can store them in a hatbox.
