You will need to remove the oil pan. Sometimes, you'll need to remove a cross member on the frame. Then, just unbolt the old pump. Install in reverse.

The oil pan must be dropped to gain access to the oil pump. The old pump is unbolted so the new one can be installed. Then reverse the process.

You must drop the oil pan. You should be able to see the oil pump, held in place with two bolts. Remove pump, and bolt new pump in it's place.

Before you install a new oil pump make sure that you are having a problem with low oil pressure. Some times you need to remove the engine completly in such crucial situations. It requires atleast 2 people out of which 1 is a professional.
