How do I go about removing the neighbors septic from our yard?

That is a very expensive maneuver. You can hire a company to come have them dig it out and then replace it with a new one in the neighbors yard. This is a very costly job, you should see what sort of legal grounds you could have to have your neighbors or the city pay for this.

This is something I would recommend hiring a Commercial Plumbing Contractor to do for you. You can do it yourself though. You have to dig up your yard and pull out all of the pipes and septic tank. Don't forget to cap off your neighbors pipe at the property line.

you need to tell the neighbor about the situation first and foremost. if he or she doesnt comply proceed to take themt o court after you remove it
