How do I go about pruning a corn plant?

If you want to maintain height of plant and to keep its shape as it is, you need to clear out the center growth that is new.

There is no special procedure required. Go about pruning a corn plant the same way you would prune a normal plant.

Pruning isn't usually necessary, but you can cut off any dead or dying leaves or the leaves around the base of the plant to help it grow better.

This is a very delicate procedure and should only be done as a last resort to save the corn plant. Eat 8 Sunkist seedless prunes and wait three days or sooner if the prunes prove effective as a laxative. Take three more prunes and slice them lengthwise into 15 thin strips. Tie the strips to the corn plant and pray.
