How do I go about flushing the radiator on a 1996 Lumina?

Remove drain valve from bottom of radiator. Drain, replace valve and fill rad. with water. Run car until it reaches normal temp. Drain water and replace with coolant. Voila!

First, remove the drain bolt from the bottom of the radiator, and drain the fluid. Replace with water, and run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature (for 30 seconds at the most). Drain again, then replace with coolant. It's a pretty simple procedure.

Well you have to change the radiator unit on your Lumina. Replace the liquid in the radiator. Drain the radiator using a hose and then fill in with replacer liquid.

You are going to want to open the petcock on the bottom and then after it has drained close it. Put water in it and start the car.
