The basic procedure usually is: remove the wheel, caliper, and then the pads themselves. Compress the piston enough to slide on the new pads. Then reverse the whole process.
Depending on the model and application, generally you remove the tire. Followed by the caliber which is usually held in place by a two bolts at the top and bottom.
Remove the wheel to expose brake shoe. There are just a few bolts. This is a good opportunity to clean the calipers.There is a compression tool to re-compress the shoe but I use a hammer.
