How do I go about becoming an actress?

Go to as many local theater productions as you can. Find out what acting groups exist and how to join. Agree to work backstage, out front, in costumes or anything else while you audition for any role that might work for you. Take classes. Learn as much as you can and keep at it.

Join local theater groups. Work any position (backstage, props, ticket sales, etc.) to get a foot in the door. Observe and learn. Take classes if you can. Try out for smaller parts and work your way up. Read and study as much as you can. With a few parts under your belt, you can move up to larger parts.

One way you could go is to get an agent to get you some casting calls or you can just find some yourself instead of paying someone. Good Luck!!

It should not be to hard at all to go about becoming an actress, however becoming a well known actress may be difficult. First start off taking acting classes and possibly theatre. Anything that you can get you should take.

One should first start watching films and plays that portray the great actesses both past and present. Then choose several styles and combine to define your unique presence.
