Send the tenant a registered, certified letter stating your wish that he vacate. If there is a lease, you must cite the violations of the lease; otherwise, you do not have grounds to terminate the lease. If the tenant does not vacate, you can ask for an order to evict if the rent is in arrears.

Send notice via certified mail to all known addresses (work, home, etc. ), leave voice mail, send email, send text message, etc. Keep copies of all of these notices.

You just need to put it in writing and can hand deliver the notice (take a photo) or mail it to them via certified mail.
