Can you draw? If that is a yes and only it that is a yes find a shop that accepts apprentices. You will work your way up from cleaner to clerk and after practicing on your own body with supervision depending on the state you may be licensed.

In order to begin tattooing you need to find an apprenticeship in a shop. They will teach you the ins and outs, from sterilization, to technique, to shop etiquette. After you complete that, get licensed then check with your county as to their requirements on shops.

The first thing I would advise would to get drawing, once you have done that start showing these to friends and people in the industry. From there you can move on to get experience from people in industry, and don't be afraid to initially work for free. Also work hard.

The easiest way is to hire on at an existing shop, build up a client base that is loyal to you, and then open your own shop with your clients.

Well, first start by drawing different things. You gotta define what your own style is first of all. The next step is buying all your own equipment. Make sure to get plenty of clean needles! The last step is honestly the hardest. You really have to know someone who works in a tattoo shop to get into it.
