How do I get rid of nutgrass?

I have nutgrass in my yard.

Simply place a nutcracker upon your lawn. Should that not work, I would suggest a de-weeding spray, as long as you're ready to accept your lawn grass being affected.

Dig out 7 to 12 inches of the soil and pull it out by the roots. Leave the soil exposed for a week and check for any new growths.

Do not cut or pull the plant out by hand. It will grow back if this is done. Remove each nutgrass plant by digging up the complete plant. Also, after digging up the entire plant discard both the plant and the dirt because nutgrass seeds are in the dirt to and can regrow more plants.

The best method should be adopted to get rid of nutgrass. If the area has not been frequently used, then we can spray the location for every two weeks. The weed should be removed physically using mechanical devices. Nut grass grows primarily in anaerobic soil and so we can apply hydrogen peroxide to the affected areas.

Well you have to act quickly before it spreads. Just go and rip them off. But like i said,act quick.. it will be easy for you this way
