If you are showing no symptoms related to cyst(itching or drainage), then no treatment is necessary. For comfort measures,you can take sitz baths. Most important keep area clean. If you are experiencing symptoms or it appears infected, see your healthcare professional. Treatment: incision and drainage of cyst and antibiotics.

Has your Doctor given you an antibiotic? I have had them before also, they are quite painful and downright embarrassing, since you never know if it will burst :( My Doctor has prescribed antibiotics, taken 3x a day for one full week. Does the trick. The cyst will drain on its own.

Doctors can remove some cysts, but they usually prefer you to attempt to allow the cyst to dissipate on it's own first. Using warm compresses on a cyst can often speed the healing process, causing the cyst to rupture naturally and drain it's contents. This will make the cyst dry and disappear.

Soaking in a tub filled with few inches of warm water several times a day for three or four days helps small,uncomplicated cyst to rupture and drain on its own.
