How do I find the total net inductance of inductors?

In series, the total inductance is the sum of the individual inductors' inductances. For inductors in parallel, the formula is: 1/(1/L1 + 1/L2... + 1/Ln).

Inductors are measured in Henrys (Henries). They should be clearly labeled. Their inductive reactance, measured in Impedence (Z), depends also upon frequency of current flowing through them. Further, many are adjustable, allowing users to customize for particular uses, such as tuning. the formula for impedence is 2piFL or [2 times 3. 14 times FREQUENCY times HENRIES of inductor).
