In most areas foreclosures are published at the courhouse and in the local paper. You can also go to www. bestassets. com, which is the HUD website for foreclosures.

Foreclosures are listed in the real estate and public auction notice sections of the newspaper. Many real estate agents also have this information. You can also get lists of foreclosures from websites that only list these properties.

The quickest way to find foreclosed homes is to contact a Realtor in your area. This agent will be able to use their MLS system to find all homes listed within the guidelines that you have set on the home you wish to purchase. The agent will also be able to walk you through the process easily.

One way is to ask a Realtor for a list. Another way is to find out how to get to the local MLS listings for your area.
