If your jacaranda tree is peeling, has falling bark, and has lost it's leaves it could simply be molting. Next spring a new better tree will emerge. However, it could also be from over-watering due to local weather patterns. In Addition, check under the fallen leaves and below the falling bark for tiny insects; spray if any are found.

Look under the peeling bark - is it still green below that? If so, the tree is just going into its dormant phase.

A jacandara tree needs water from time to time but not too much to over water it causing the roots to rot. Look into this aspect to adjust water treatment.

Jacaranda trees are very susceptible to overwatering so you should reexamine how much of that you are doing. In addition, frost can kill the tree back to ground level.

Your best bet is to take a sample of the bark as well as one of the branches, near the area where the bark is peeling and send it off to a diagnostic clinic.

Check your trees for possible diseeses or any fungus that may affect your trees. Leaves if it green or not and look for any signs of fungus infestation. Check the stems and the twigs of the trees regularly so that i will be easier for you to do some precationary measurements.
