Like dealing with any difficult person, the answer is to kill them with kindness. Take the high road when being reprimanded. Also, make sure you're being objective when assessing "difficult. " Make sure you are being an exemplary employee. If you are doing your job well and make an effort to get along you shouldn't have problems.

Work can be tough with a difficult supervisor. Take a step back and see if you can analyze why your supervisor is being tough on you. It may be a motivational approach on their part. Perhaps they see greatness in you and seek to push you to your best. Attempt to sit down with your supervisor and discuss the matter.

Document any time where he or she causes you a problem, but continue to produce at your job. If there is ever a hearing, your documentation is proof.
