How do I connect an over-the-air HD antenna to a dish receiver?

It would have to go to the antenna portion of the dish reciever, but should be fine. There may be complications if your dish reciever is not setup for HD through that input. As far as cabling, make sure it is the same type of cable(most likely a 75ohm male f type connector) and it SHOULD work.

Some dish receivers may support this, but I have never seen one. You could do this if you have an HD receiver or TV with video output. Simply connect the video outputs of the tv or receiver to the video inputs on the dish receiver using whichever cable they both support.

that depends on what type of connector it has. if it is a digital antenna, it should have a cable that connects to the appropriate port on the back of the receiver. if it is an analog antenna, you need a digital converter

Plug the receiver end into the back of the antenna. Install any software if it connects to a computer. If there are batteries make sure they are securely fastened.
