There are cables you can get that plug into the headphone jack of an iPod and connect it to the TV through the composite inputs on the television. Look around at electronic stores to see if you can find the cable you need.
Many TVs have an RCA input, which is a set of holes for bringing in a stereo (left and right channel) audio signal. The output jack from your iPod is an 1/8" TRS connector. Simply purchase an RCA to 1/8" TRS cable at a major electronics store (like Radio Shack) or online. Make sure both ends are the "male" type.
You need a special cable that is very rare.. It's called "Connect Ipod-TV cable". Try in your local stores, maybe you're lucky and you will find one,but i doubt it. It's very rare. I have one and i searched for it one year.
You have to have a cable which connect you iPod to TV. One side cable will have stereo jack pin and other side will be audio video two pin. Insert jack pin to your iPod and the audio video pin in TV (place of audio video in) and select accordingly in your TV it will work.
If the TV has RCA jack input, you can simply use a 3. 5mm to RCA adapter cable. This works well enough for most music. You would need to put the TV on 'Video' or 'Auxiliary' mode.
