First unplug the wiring harness connector then I may have to use the flat head screwdriver to pry open the snaps. Besides I shall have to do this quite a few times to get all the carbon build-up off.
First you need to remove the wire harness by unplugging it. Then you will need a a flat head screw driver to carefully pry open the snaps.Remove cap and spray with choke cleaner to remove all if any debris.
take the filter out and use one of those keyboard dusters. this should get most of the gook out of your air control motor. make sure you use soap and water as well
-Firstly disconnect the negative terminal of battery.
-disconnect the cable from the idle valve.
-remove idle valve from throttle body after undoing the 2 bolts.
- clean the idle valve pindle of any carbon deposit
- reinstall in the reverse order.
If its similar to an Idle Air Control valve you need to remove it and dissasemble it using some sort of carburator cleaner and a tooth brush to clean it.
If Your Idle air control motor does not consist of eletronic's the gas is the best way to clean it. if it does then auto parts stores carry sparys that can clean it. But the best way to go about cleaning or repairing the problem you are having is to replace the part.
