One thing to remember about PS2 games is that they do scratch easily. Using rubbing alcohol on a lint free rag, wipe the disk from the center to the edges. Do not wipe in a circular motion. This will cause more damage

Take a microfiber or lint-free cloth. Hold the PS2 disc along the edges, without touching the surface, then gently move the cloth straight outwards from the middl.

cleaning a ps2 DVD or CD isn't that hard really. First of all you must use a soft tissue material. Secondly this material must be perfectly dry. Then when you get that soft and dry tissue you must gently clean the DVD without pressing to hard thus not damaging it.

Well if it is just dusty or lightly dirty yu can use a soft damp cloth and wipe it dry with another soft dry cloth. Make sure to wipe from the center of the disk outwards being careful not to scratch it. If you have scratches they will need to be removed by hand or with a scratch removing device.

The best way to clean a PS2 is to clean the disc with a damp rag. Start from the inside and work your way out to the center of the disc.
