How do I check the coils on my Honda CBR?

depends on the model. An f4i has "coil sticks" and you can check them buy pulling them out, putting a plug in it, then cranking the engine. Watch for spark.

You need to check the resistances of the coils. Since you are asking on line, I'll just say this: Getan Ohm-meter and measure from the connectors on the coil. If you get similar readings from both coils on the same prongs, they are probably good because one usually fails before the other. Get a service manual to get the exact numbers.

First remove spark plug wire. then crank engine see if theres spark at the plug if no spark is found make sure the coil has the write resistence and make sure there is power at the coil.
