How do I change my lower radiator hose?

Can I be sure it needs changing?

If you can see it is leaking it should be changed. Also if you notice any dryrot on it, it should be changed. The easiest way to do it is draining the coolant and just taking the clips off with a screw driver and then you just pull the hose off. Put the new one on the same way.

It is usually easy to tell if a hose needs replaced. Obviously if it leaks it should be changed. If it is hard, cracked, or damaged it should also be changed. It is also a good idea to install new clamps if the old ones are corroded.
